The Rolex Daytona 16520 Zenith Movement is one of the most iconic and collectible modern Rolex chronographs, marking a significant evolution in the Daytona lineage. Introduced in 1988, the reference 16520 was the first Daytona to feature an automatic movement—powered by the legendary Zenith El Primero-based Caliber 4030, which Rolex heavily modified for enhanced precision and reliability.
Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case, this model boasts a black or white dial with contrasting sub-dials, applied hour markers, and a clean, symmetrical layout that offers excellent legibility. The fixed tachymeter bezel, originally crafted in stainless steel, reinforces the Daytona’s heritage as a tool for professional racing drivers.
